Our main studio location is downtown Victoria B.C. but we travel so no problem.

I’m headed to snow tomorrow for my boyfriend’s birthday….. but I am always secretly yearning for the tropics. This Hawaii elopement was magical. Did it torrential downpour? Yes. Was that kind of magical. Also yes. Something about warm tropical rain gets me. I don’t want to run from it I want to stand there with my face to the sky eyes closed and just let is cleanse my soul. Forever grateful that these two picked me to fly in for their special day. They are both just so lovely and they really made me feel loved and welcome. I look back on these memories with so much love and appreciation. So blessed with all the adventures I have had and the beautiful connections I have made with this career.

Every single time! Once I get in the zone I just don’t want to stop. Then my job is so hard, I hate culling, I am too attached. “This one’s good, this one is almost the same but the hairs blowing a little different. Keep both”. 🤦‍♀️ smh. It’s a really hard habit to break.

Im dying to finish this amazing set. I have been meaning to share some more. Boudoir is so fun…. And as you know I love my horsies. Never thought to combine the two. Let me say it is very tricky. But the horses did their best this day and I think it turned out amazing! Love the moody vibe.
We did this as a group session with four beautiful ladies and their awesome horses. I think we should make boudoir barn parties a regular thing.

Does anyone else find it so hard to do ALL the things all the time. Because it’s really hard for me. Usually something doesn’t quite make it. One day it’s the water. Most days it’s the hair washing let’s be real. Sometimes if the exercise. Lots of days I forget some supplements. I’m always really hard on myself when I can’t do all the things. Usually animals and work take priority over everything else. Then I wonder why I don’t feel good. Uhh girl cause you have been outside or drank an ounce of water all day perhaps? lol
I have never been good at creating routines. I have to force it. No matter how long I do it for it never gets cemented in there like it seems to so easily for others. I like that every day and my life isn’t rigid, but finding balance is always an ongoing goal of mine.

I find getting up and out and getting a workout done in the morning is big for me. I stress all day when I wait until the evening. Getting my body moving before sitting down at the computer for the day seems to really help me focus and sets my day up well.
What tips and tricks do you use to stay in balance?
