My name is Becca,
I am an award-winning wedding, elopement, and portrait photographer drawn to connection, emotion, and the beauty of real moments.
I live in Sooke, BC, surrounded by old-growth forest, sharing a quiet life with my partner and our animals. I’m endlessly inspired by art, nature, and human connection — often dressed in black, and rarely without a bit of dog hair.
Based on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, I photograph weddings locally and travel worldwide for intimate celebrations and creative work that feels honest and intentional.

I’m a true nature enthusiast and adventurer at heart. I’ve traveled the world, photographing breathtaking landscapes and capturing moments that tell a story. I feel that my love for photography shines through in every image I take.
I’m honoured to have been recognized as a wedding photographer with numerous awards and features in some of the industry’s most prestigious publications. I’ve been named among the top 200 artists of the year by Lookslikefilm.com four times and recently ranked in the top 15 finalists for the International Wedding Photographer of the Year Awards. Most of my accomplishments were once distant dreams. I feel blessed to have realized so early in my career.

Welcome to my life..
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll likely find me exploring the great outdoors with my four furry friends—Gracie and Benny my two dogs, (and Oscar boy up in heaven), Puppy the cat, and Beanie the horse. Whether I’m catching waves at the beach or hitting the slopes, I’m always seeking my next adventure. If you dream of having your photos taken in an epic location, I’m always up for exploring with you. If you saw the state of my gear you can tell I am always climbing up rocks and getting myself into wild positions to get the perfect shot. Did I mention that I love to travel? Well I do and there are some locations I have been dying to shoot and would be willing to shoot for the travel cost. Like Greece, Italy, and Bali. My favourite shoots seem to always be the adventure fuelled, whether we hike in or get dropped at the top of a mountain by helicopter.

Welcome to my life..
Before diving into photography full-time, I spent ten years as a care aide, where I focused on helping people feel comfortable, safe and valued. My goal was to increase their quality of life everyday and be an ambassador for them in our communities. This experience deeply influenced my approach to photography, allowing me to connect authentically with my clients. I’m a romantic at heart, and I believe in the power of love over all, no what what size, shape or form that love exists in. With my bright smile and easy laugh, I strive to bring joy to every shoot. A lot of my clients have said that it feels like we have known each other forever. I love that. Connection with other people is what makes life worth living.
